Actor Rupal Patel, who is playing the role of Meenakshi Rajvansh in the serial ‘Ye Rishte Hain Pyar Ke’, is very happy these days. Recently she received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Rupal Patel said, “I am one of the Ambassadors of the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan and received a personal letter from Shri Narendra Modi, our Prime Minister. This is the second time when I received this kind of award from Modi Ji. I am very happy with this achievement.”
Rupal said further: “The day I got this letter, it was a memorable one. I was away from the house shooting. When the letter was delivered to my house, everyone at home became apprehensive because this letter was from the supreme authority in India. When I reached home, I was also afraid to open the letter. Then I called my husband and waited for him to arrive and then both of us opened the letter. And this way we got the good news.”
Rupal has been working on cleanliness mission since 2017 and she has also participated in the campaign by going to Andaman and Havelock Islands.
So how much is special about taking cleanliness in real life? “To know more about this, people should also come to my make-up room on my set and my house. I am very strict about cleanliness. I believe that a clean environment plays an important role in making our country a better place. I’m glad that television has given me the power to contribute in this direction. “
So far, Rupal has been part of many shows like ‘Shagun’, ‘Jaane Kya Baar Hai’, ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ and ‘Manmohini’.
