No ransom demand received yet; incident captured on CCTV camera
Satna, Madhya Pradesh: Sensation prevailed in Satna after two unidentified bikers climbed aboard a school bus after forcing its driver to stop it and abducted two children at the gunpoint. Both are the children of oil merchant Brajesh Rawat. So far no ransom demand has been received. Rawat family had informed the police and investigations had been launched to trace the children. This incident comes close on the heels of a similar incident in Indore where a six-year-old was abducted although the child in Indore was traced by police within 27 hours of abduction.
Forced children to get off the bus and fled with them
On Tuesday, two armed bikers stopped the bus of Chitrakoot’s Sadguru Trust School. They climbed into the bus and threatened the driver and conductor brandishing country-made pistols. They forced two children Shivam and Devang, both aged about five years, to deboard the bus and fled with them. The daring abduction has unnerved the citizens and the parents and guardians are worried about the safety of their wards.
Police swing into action
The Nayagaon police have swung into action and are also making inquiries with the children’s father. The incident has been captured on the CCTV camera at the intersection and cops were examining the footages to identify and trace the culprits.
Notably, two days back a six-year-old son of a grocery merchant was kidnapped in Indore and Rs 10 lakh ransom was demanded. The police traced the phone number from which the call was made to demand the ransom. Cops talked with the abductors simulating female voice and trapped one of the abductors. Finally the child was recovered from Barodia village in Sagar.
