Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal-starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike won applauds from movie buffs and critics alike. News is that the film has also received attention from South filmmakers. It has come to light that the film is under consideration to be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
If news sources are to be believed, the producer of the film Ronnie Screwvala and his team received several calls from producers from the South who wished to adapt the movie in their respective languages. If things fall into place, then the remakes should go on floor by mid-year.
The film that highlighted what happened during India’s surgical strikes against Pakistan in 2016 on the big screen is said to feature popular actors in the respective industries.
