A week before the cupid’s arrow hits our hearts on Valentine’s Day, several other days are celebrated to spice thing’s up. It all starts with Rose Day on February 7, then comes Propose Day which is followed by Chocolate Day and Teddy Day. After Promise Day (February 11) comes, Hug Day, and Kiss Day, and then on February 14, it is finally Valentine’s Day.
Also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, Valentine’s Day, which originated as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus, is recognised as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.
Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the honour of Saint Valentine, a Roman saint who is associated with courtly love.
