SRK responds in tweet to fan after 143 requests of meeting his differently abled brother

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan was, is and remains to be one of the fan favourites in Bollywood not only for his films, or his charming personality, but also for his kind responses to fans.

On Tuesday morning, the 53-year-old superstar replied to a fan’s tweet, who had been asking him to connect with his differently abled brother for several months.

Responding to a video tweeted by the fan named Amrit, King Khan sent his regards to the fan’s family and said that he would get in touch with him soon.

In a tweet, Shah Rukh wrote: “Sorry, Amrit, I hadn’t seen your video. Please give my regards to mummyji and I will figure out and speak to Raju soon.”

In the video, which he numbered as his 143rd request, Amrit says that it is his first ever video on Twitter and introduces his brother and mother to SRK requesting him to get in touch with his brother, who is a huge fan.

Amrit, who has been tweeting to Shah Rukh since July, has also been tagging the tweets with the hashtag “#RajuMeetsShahRukh.”

Amrit’s first tweet read, “Day 1 : @iamsrk Love from my elder brother Raju who has Cerebral Palsy. He is a huge fan and wants to meet you. I’m going to tweet everyday from today until you agree to meet him.”

Shah Rukh Khan is known to often respond to his fans on social media and answers their queries. Perhaps, after this tweet, his fan base increased by a few more thousands going ‘aww’ at his sweet gesture.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, now he has the biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma titled Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, in the pipeline.
