Mumbai: Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s last film Andhadhun received a position feedback and it also managed to do well at box office. The director who is known for his thriller genre is apparently looking for a cast for his next.
“Sriram has started working on his next and is currently in the process of casting. He is looking for a couple of young actor and actress. However, there is no clarity on whether it is for sequel of his much appreciated film Badlapur or not,” says a source.
The buzz suggests that the makers are keen to do a sequel and there has been a discussion about it over the past year, although there is no official announcement from the producer or the director. It has been reported that Varun Dhawan, who starred in the first film is likely to collaborate with the director for yet another thriller but will not feature in the second part.
Meanwhile, rumour has it that Raghavan is planning to make a part two with a female lead.
