South star Kiccha Sudeep will dub his own Hindi dialogues in ‘Dabangg 3’, to start shoot from May

South superstar Kiccha Sudeep is all set to star opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3. For Sudeep, Bollywood is not new territory as he had made his Hindi debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s Phoonk and followed it with Phoonk 2 and Rann and Rakht Charitra. However, unlike his earlier Hindi films, Dabangg will see Sudeep dubbing his own Hindi dialogues.

Says a source, “Sudeep has a strong baritone voice and it will go well with the character that he is playing. This time around he will be dubbing his own lines in Hindi.

Although Hindi is not his first language, Sudeep is decently fluent in Hindi and can talk well. There will be a slight accent visible but that is not exactly a big problem. The makers want Sudeep’s voice as they feel it will lend more crediblity to his character as opposed to getting a dubbing artist to dub for him.

Sudeep too see Dabangg as a great opportunity to establish himself in Bollywood and he knows dubbing his own dialogues will give him more weightage in the industry.”

Meanwhile, Sudeep who was earlier expected to join the crew in Madhya Pradesh will now start shooting in May in Maharashtra where the second schedule of the film will be shot.
