Katrina Kaif was in a bond with her Jagga Jasoos co-actor Ranbir Kapoor, and after dating each other for a long time, the two separated.
When Kat was asked about how instead of breaking down she has come out as a beautiful person post her break-up, she said that she had to take full charge and feel everything before she could proceed in life.
Katrina said, “I had to break before I could proceed to restore myself. I had to unwind and feel everything that had happened…I had to take full blame for my part in the relationship, what I could and should have done better and admit that the parts I was not liable for were not my problem.”
Katrina said, “One thought that helped me when I was at my lowest, something my mom told me was, ‘So many women and girls go through the same thing, you feel you are alone but you are not.’”
About love and relationships, the actress said that it is beautiful to be in love but make sure that nobody else has the right to your identity.
“I am not saying be guarded in love. No, love with all your heart. Being in a relationship is beautiful and I have a lot to give to a person. But I now know that nobody else gives you your identity,” Katrina Kaif explained.
Katrina Kaif’s character of Babita Kumari in Aanand L Rai’s Zero won her great compliments and awards, and during an interview, Katrina Kaif declared that Babita Kumari is a character that has come out of her real life.
“Everything that I bring to my work comes out of my life’s events. I try to find a way to combine it with something I have seen, heard or something someone around me has faced,” Katrina said.
