Shah Rukh Khan to collaborate with South director Atlee Kumar

For a long period of time, there was a buzz that Shah Rukh Khan, may do Hindi remake of Tamil film Mersal. While people close to him denied this buzz, it is said that the actor is open to doing a film with director and writer Atlee Kumar of Mersal.

A source says, “Shah Rukh has done few Tamil films and has also been featured couple of remakes as well. However Atlee has narrated two scripts to Shah Rukh in their recent meeting.”

The source said further, “The actor has liked both the stories but is yet to take a final call on which one to take it up and when to do it.It is also not clear whether he has been offered a remake or the original scripts by Atlee.”

Post Zero’s release last year the actor was to do Saare Jahan Se Achcha but he decided to opt out of it. Since then there have been speculations about his upcoming projects.

The actor has met lot of people and has even hinted about his next project but did not confirm anything.

Meanwhile there is a buzz that Shah Rukh is likely to do a cameo in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. He is going to a play character ,which comes in life of Chulbul Pandey before he becomes senior police officer and brings a big change in his life.
