Salman Khan yet to find a release date for ‘Dabangg 3’

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]alman Khan, who is all set to begin shooting for his next film Bharat with Priyanka Chopra, is looking for an ideal date to release Dabangg 3.

After Bharat, Salman will be shooting for Kick 2 and Dabangg 3. While Bharat went on floor last month and is slated to release on Eid next year, Kick 2 will release on Christmas in 2019.

“Salman and his team are yet to finalise the cast for the third part of Dabangg. The actor is willing to release it around August 15 but it looks a bit doubtful as the cast is yet to be finalised. The film was supposed to go on floor this year and release early next year. But Salman had signed Race 3 by then and now he has to shoot for Bharat, apart from his shows like Dus Ka Dum and Bigg Boss. He is also travelling to different countries for his concerts. So if the film doesn’t go on floor on time, there is a possibility that it may not be able to release on August 15 and then Salman will have to look for a different release date.”

So far Salman has had releases around Eid and Christmas and it has worked in favour of him. Incidentally, in 2019, all the big weekends have been booked by various directors. Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 will release with Rajinikanth’s 2.0 on Republic Day, while Salman’s Bharat will release on Eid, Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra will release on Independence Day, Diwali weekend is booked by Housefull 4 and Christmas for Kick 2. So, if Salman misses the deadline then he will have tough time finding a suitable date to release his film.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Salman is planning to do Race 4 before Dabangg 3 as Arbaaz Khan is still finalising the cast. Rumours also suggest that Salman is planning to launch Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami in Dabangg’s third part.
