Salman Khan to change script of ‘Dabangg 3’

'Salman has been particular about his scripts in recent past after 'Race 3' could not do too well at box office. 'Dabangg 3' has been delayed a bit over his suggestions to change the script,' says a source.

Mumbai: Salman Khan is busy completing his film Bharat in Chandigarh with Katrina Kaif. This is said to be the last major schedule of the film which will be shot around Wagah Border recreated by the makers. The actor is then going to start shooting for the third part of his action film Dabangg next year, apparently only after changing the script.

“Salman has been particular about his scripts in recent past after Race 3 could not do too well at box office. He has closely kept himself updated about the script of Bharat. As far as Dabangg is concerned, he has been keeping a watch on the how the script is being developed. He had suggested some changes and that is the reason why the film has been delayed a bit,” says a source.

Earlier, it was reported that the film was to go on floor this year. But Arbaaz Khan, who is co-producing as well as acting in the film revealed that the film will go on floor in February or March next year. Meanwhile, buzz also suggests that even though Salman wishes to release it around Christmas next year, it might get pushed ahead a bit and release in 2020, but there is no confirmation on it.
