Rajnath Singh says on Pakistan’s threat of nuclear attack – Army will give a befitting reply

New Delhi: Defence minister Rajnath Singh has said that India has never even acquired even an inch of land by force, but our armed forces have the capability to give a befitting reply to those who try to cast their evil eye on India,” Singh said.

The defence minister’s comments come amid tensions with Pakistan over ceasefire violations meant to assist infiltrators.

Singh said the Indian Navy has ensured that attacks like 26/11 are not repeated by maintaining a strong vigil.

Armed forces capable of giving a befitting reply: Singh, who was addressing the media at the Naval Commanders conference in New Delhi, said that India has never been offensive but the armed forces are capable of giving a befitting reply.

Singh said the Navy is moving towards indigenization and the number of Indian equipment in our ships is increasing. The emphasis of the three forces is to reduce imports.

Pak minister says now artillery will not work, nuclear attack will happen: According to reports, after the major action of the Indian Army in PoK, Pakistan’s minister Sheikh Rashid without taking the name of India had said that now guns and shells will not work. There should not be an airstrike. Now there will be a direct nuclear attack. Rashid had earlier threatened a nuclear attack on India.
