Bundi: In Bundi district of Rajasthan, on Wednesday morning, a bus carrying members of a marriage party fell into a river. As many as 24 people died in the accident.
According to initial information, the bus was going from Kota to Sawaimadhopur. There were 30 people on the bus. The incident happened in Papadi village on the highway. The administration has not confirmed the death toll.
According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the bus was very fast at the time of the accident. While on the Mej River bridge, the bus became uncontrolled and fell into the river.
The villagers tried their best to save the people. Police and administration were informed. Rescue operations have been started. Most of those who died are men.
