Rahul Gandhi in the eye of controversy for calling JeM chief as ‘Masood Azhar ji’

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi landed in controversy when he called terror outfit Jaish-E-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar as ‘Masood Azhar ji’.

Rahul was trolled on social media after a video went viral on social media. Rahul Gandhi spoke about JeM chief and referred him as ‘Masood Azhar ji’. while addressing a booth level meeting in New Delhi.

Union Minister Smriti Irani slammed Rahul for the remark. She took to her Twitter page and said, “What is common between Rahul Gandhi and Pakistan?” Their love for terrorists. Posting the video along her remark, the minister added, “Please note Rahul ji’s reverence for terrorist Masood Azhar – a testimony to #RahulLovesTerrorists.”

Earlier, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh had also addressed wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden as ‘Osama ji’ and was severely criticised by the BJP and other party leaders.

So far, there is no reaction from Rahul Gandhi or any other Congress leader on Rahul calling JeM chief as ‘Masood Azhar ji’.
