Post ‘surgical strike 2’, trader in Surat makes saree with pictures of Air Force personnel, Modi on it

Surat: On Tuesday as soon as it was reported that India had carried out ‘surgical strike 2’ – wherein India destroyed Jaish camp in Pakistan’s Balakot – a textile merchant made a saree in just four hours, with pictures of Air Force personnel and PM Narendra Modi on it. The people have highly welcomed this saree and orders are pouring in.

‘Pakistan got a befitting reply’

Vinod Kumar Surana Jain, a saree merchant at Surat’s Abhinandan Market, said that our soldiers had been making supreme sacrifice but Pakistan’s evil activities were continuing. Pakistan got a befitting reply after the dastardly attack on the convoy of our brave soldiers in Pulwama. “Surgical Strike 2 has showed the capability of our armed forces to strike”, Jain said.

Inspired by the air attack, Jain decided to make a printed saree with pictures of the Air Force personnel, Miraj and PM Modi on it.

He said, “Generally, it takes seven days to make a saree, but I made it in only four hours. We have started receiving order of this. So far 2000 orders of this saree have already been received.”
