KK Khaneja, the in-charge of Bamitha police station confirmed the incident. He said that he consumed a poisonous substance outside her clinic and died later. Khaneja said that action will be taken against the alleged abettors once the probe is complete and the postmortem report is in.

Had got married

According to reports, Tulsidas Patel of Gomakala village had sold off his property and invested the entire proceeds in the clinic of his lover Leelavavti. They also lived together as man and wife. On April 4, they got married under the Special Marriage Act and later, in a temple.

‘Took ₹2L from me’

He alleged in the video that once he became a pauper, Leelavati started shunning him and declared that she intended to marry her ‘old friend’ Mukesh Patel. “She took Rs two lakh from me for her clinic”, he said.

In the video, Tulsidas addressing the police station in-charge, SP, DIG, IG, DGP and even the home minister and chief minister, said that Leelavati was refusing to marry him in public and that she had told him that her mother, brother, brother-in-law, sister and her ‘close friend’ were telling her that now that she had a clinic, she should marry a “nice man”.

“I am ill and I do not have the capacity to fight against them. They may get me murdered. So I am committing suicide and Leelavati, her mother, her friend, her brother and sister-in-law would be responsible for it”.

‘I have evidence’

In the video, he also says that he has photographic and documentary proof of his marriage, which the police can get from his home. “This video and all related documents should be presented in a court,” he said.

Tulsiram shot the selfie-video in the field of his brother-in-law and WhatsApped it to him. Later, he went to Ganj where he ended his life.
