Monkeys force farmers to give up farming in Shimla, now car company parking its vehicles on abandoned fields

Shimla: Monkeys have become nuisance for the farmers in Shimla. Now the peasants have left farming and rented out their farms to the Maruti company to park the cars.

Farmers are now earning more than they were earlier through farming.

Farmers said the monkeys had made it difficult for them to farm. They used to destroy crops and so people stopped farming. This is the situation in areas around Shimla where the fields have become barren.

Cars are parked here and then sent to the showrooms across the country according to the demand. At one time up to 1500 cars worth crores of rupees are parked here and the company’s employees look after them.
