Mandla: The carcass of a tiger was found in the buffer zone Motinala circle of Kanha National Park. When foul smell was emanating in the Mangli Beat of the circle, the patrol staff went to the place where the tiger carcass was found, which had completely rotted. It is being told that the body is about a week old.
According to the park management, prima facie it seems that the tiger died due to electrocution. There is also a possibility of hunting by applying current. It has been reported that the tiger’s body was seen by the patrol staff on Wednesday.
The body looked almost a week old. Kanha Tiger Reserve Deputy Director Anjana Suchita Tirkey said that samples have been sent for examination after postmortem.
