Man accused of molesting minor enlarged on bail; rapes another

Gharsana (Dist Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan): Five months back, Budhram Bawari was arrested on the charge of raping a 10-year-old girl in Rawla. He was released on bail on March 12. On Wednesday, he again molested a three-year-old. The incident happened at a brick kiln here.

Police station in-charge, Vikram Singh Chauhan, said that the victim’s father, in his complaint, said that his daughter was playing near the kiln when she suddenly disappeared. Family members began looking for her. When they heard her cries, they went to the spot and found that Budhram was sexually assaulting her. They caught hold of him and handed him over to the police.

After medical examination of the child, police registered a case against the accused under sections 376, 511 and 354 of the IPC and 3/4 of POCSO Act against him. Budhram was accused of raping a 10-year-old girl in Rawla on December 1, 2017. He was released on bail 50 days ago.

School owner found guilty of sexual assault

Meanwhile, the education department, on Wednesday, revoked the recognition of a private school at Panwad in Jhalawar district after the school owner was found guilty of sexually assaulting a student. District Education Officer Surendra Gaud said that on April 11, the owner of Swami Vivekananda Secondary School had sexually assaulted a student of the school. The education department had constituted a committee to probe the charge. The committee has held the Satyanarayan Nagar, the owner of the school, guilty. The education department has now revoked the recognition of the school. All the students of the school will be admitted to the Government Model Higher Secondary School in the town.
