Indore: After the Congress government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, an investment of 31 thousand crores has been made in the state so far. Through this investment 1 lakh people will get employment. State Chief Secretary RS Mohanty gave this information on Thursday before the debut of Magnificent MP at the Brilliant Convention Center. Chief Minister Kamal Nath reached Indore on Thursday afternoon to attend the summit.
2.10 lakh people to get jobs, says CS: Mohanty told that by March, investment of 74 thousand crore rupees will come and due to which 1.10 lakh people will get employment. Thus, with the formation of Kamal Nath government from March 2019, an investment of 105 thousand crore rupees will come in Madhya Pradesh, which will provide employment to 2.10 lakh people. During the press conference, the Chief Secretary also released a list of 223 projects taking shape in MP. An amount of over Rs 10 crore is being invested by industrialists on all the projects included in this list.
Only 25 per cent of the last summit MoUs materialized: Mohanty revealed in Indore that during the Shivraj government of BJP, the investment agreement of Rs 5 lakh crore was signed by the government with the industrialists at an investment conference held in Indore in 2016. Out of these investment agreements, investments worth only Rs 1.20 lakh crore have been made on the ground. That is, only 25 percent of the total MoUs in the last summit have materialized.
MP will become an ideal destination for investment: Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the government will take all possible steps to make Madhya Pradesh an ideal state in the entire country for industrial investment. Shri Kamal Nath was holding One-to-One meeting with industrialists, on the eve of Magnificent Madhya Pradesh at Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore today.
Nath said that during the last eight months, the government by its decisions has created an industrial friendly atmosphere in the state. He said that it will be our efforts to get massive investment in the state so that our youth could get employment.
During the meeting, Kamal Nath also apprised the industry’s representatives of the decisions taken by the government.
Kamal Nath met the CEO of Impetus Technology USA Shri Praveen Kakaria, working in the field of I.T. and Managing Director of Symbiotic Company Shri Anil Satwani.
