Madhya Pradesh/ Hoshangabad: Tiger to be brought to Satpura Tiger Reserve from Bandhavgarh by Nov end

Hoshangabad: There are plans to bring a tiger shortly from Bandhavgarh to STR (Satpura Tiger Reserve). A tiger is coming from Bandhavgarh. STR has started preparations to bring him here.

Big cat will be kept in an enclosure initially: The big cat is likely to reach Satpura in the last week of November. He will initially be kept in an enclosure so that he can adapt to the conditions here. After this, he will be released in the forest. STR management has started preparations for bringing the tiger.

Number of tigers in Bandhavgarh is 115: STR’s field director SK Singh said that the number of tigers in STR is going to increase. A tiger will come from Bandhavgarh this month. Planning is on to bring him in the last week of November. He will be brought only after 25 November. Since the number of tigers in Bandhavgarh is above 115. Hence, a tiger is now being brought from there.

A tigress has given birth to 4 cubs in STR: This will increase the number of big cats at STR. Tiger will be brought and kept in an enclosure here to help him adapt to the new conditions. After this, he will be released in the forest. There are 48 tigers in Satpura Tiger Reserve. With the arrival of the new tiger, the number of big cats in STR will increase to 49. Recently, a tigress has given birth to 4 cubs. Their number will be added after one year.
