Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to all the people of the state to take full precautions to prevent the outbreak of the Coronavirus. He said that we will not let Coronavirus spread in Madhya Pradesh under any condition.
The State Government is making every necessary arrangement in this regard. The Medical Colleges and other big hospitals of the private sector will function as specific hospitals in the state. Arrangements have been made for essential medicines, masks, PPE Kits as well as ventilators. Shri Chouhan was addressing the high-level meeting held in connection with coronavirus at Mantralaya on Thursday.
Chouhan said that every individual in the state should follow the instructions of isolation. Cooperate in keeping themselves and their family healthy. Shri Chouhan said that there has been information that some citizens have returned from abroad. He further said that efforts are also being made to eliminate the possibility of contamination of their family.
Chouhan said that such persons with alertness can quarantine themselves and ensure the welfare of the entire community. He said it is a matter of collective concern and responsibility. Shri Chouhan urged the common people to cooperate fully in this work. The Chief Minister assured that Madhya Pradesh Government is with the people in this difficult time of crisis.
List of Citizens of MP returned from abroad released: A list comprising 12 thousand 125 citizens of Madhya Pradesh, who have returned from abroad after February 15 has been released by the State Government in public interest.
In addition, it has been said that they should quarantine themselves to their homes as there is a possibility of disease infection. Through community efforts, these people will be inspired to follow the protocol. Moreover, it has been said to immediately inform the District Control Room or Helpline No. 104, if the protocol is not followed by the quarantined person.
It has been appealed to the masses to show kindness to the quarantined persons living around them. In case of any complaint of their ill-health, they should immediately inform the District Control Room. All quarantined persons are being constantly monitored by the Department of Health. Through telemedicine, all these individuals will be given medical counseling by the doctors.
