Madhya Pradesh/ British PM Boris Johnson’s parents visit Orchha Ram Raja Mandir, say- feel relaxed here

Orchha: Stanley and Jennifer Johnson, parents of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, along with 10 members arrived from Gwalior to visit the tourist town Orchha’s memorials during the 12-day India Tour.

After darshan of Lord Ram in the Ramraja temple, he said that he was very relaxed here. He along with his companions saw Chaturbhuj Temple of Orchha, Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal and the chhatris of the Bundela kings situated on the banks of Betwa.

Senior guide Hemant Goswami said that the parents of Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed happiness over the cleanliness of Orchha city. They said – People in India are starting to look very conscious about cleanliness, it is a good thing.

Goswami said that Stanley Johnson went through the history of Orchha in detail and was also impressed by it. After carefully understanding the historical details, he also noted them down in the diary.

‘I liked Orchha the best’: Apart from this, he photographed many historical monuments. Stanley said that during his 12-day India tour this time, he got an opportunity to visit Orchha. He said among all the places he visited in India, he liked Orchha the best. Stanley has previously worked as an environmentalist in Bandhavgarh and Panch National Parks in MP.

‘Cuisine here tasted different’: Prime Minister Boris’s mother Jennifer said – It was great to see Indian culture in Orchha. She said that the grandeur of the Orchha temples was unique. She said- the taste of Indian women here and the cuisine here also tasted different. If I get a chance for the second time, I’ll definitely come to Orchha.
