Bhopal: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan arrived at Bhopal airport on Saturday morning by chartered plane. He is accompanied by wife Jaya, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya.
Amitabh arrived here to celebrate the 90th birthday of his mother-in-law Indira Bhaduri. The local administration has stepped up security at the Ansal apartment in Shyamala Hills after the Bachchan family suddenly arrived in Bhopal. Jaya Bachchan’s mother Indira lives here.
The Bachchan family has stayed at the Jahanuma Retreat. It is being told that after celebrating the birthday, everyone will return to Mumbai by evening.
Indira Goswami became Bhaduri after marrying Tarun: Indira Bhaduri’s name before marriage was Indira Goswami. She has studied in Patna. Indira was married to journalist and writer Tarun Kumar Bhaduri. Tarun Kumar Bhaduri was the correspondent of the English newspaper ‘Statesman’ in Bhopal at that time. Jaya is Indira and Tarun’s daughter.
Amitabh’s father-in-law was with Chambal’s dacoits: At the time when there was terror of dacoits of Chambal, Amitabh’s father-in-law Tarun Kumar Bhaduri stayed with the dacoits in the ravines and understood their life. After this, he also wrote a book in Bengali language called Abhishapt Jungle or cursed forests, which was later translated into English. Amitabh and Dharmendra’s superhit film ‘Sholay‘ is said to be inspired by the book of Tarun Bhaduri. Tarun died in 1996.
Abhishek and Aishwarya have visited Bhopal many times: Abhishek and Aishwarya have also come to Bhopal to meet their grandmother many times. They came here in 2013 on Indira’s birthday. Indira now lives alone in Bhopal. Jaya Bachchan has attended Sindoor Khela program at Kali Bari temple in Bhopal several times on Navratri.
