Madhay Pradesh/ Five Astha Sthal of Guru Nanak Dev to be included in CM Teerth-Darshan Yojana

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that on the occasion of the 550th Prakash Parva of Guru Nanak Dev, 5 Astha Sthal (Places of Faith) of the country linked with Nank Sahib will be included in the Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana.

These places are Takht Sachkhand Huzur Sahib situated in Nanded of Maharashtra, Keshgarh Sahib situated in Anandpur of Punjab, Damdama Sahib situated in Bathinda of Punjab, Poanta Sahib of Sirmaur and Manikaran Sahib located in Himachal Pradesh.

Nath was reviewing the Adhyatm Department at Mantralaya today. The Minister for Public Relations and Adhyatma Shri P.C. Sharma was present at the meeting.

550th Prakash Parva of Guru Nanak Ji should be celebrated at grand scale: The Chief Minister said that the 550th Prakash Parva of Guru Nanak Ji should be celebrated at grand scale across Madhya Pradesh. All necessary preparations should be made for this. He said, it should be our efforts to make this Parva, a centre of attraction for the country. Schemes related to welfare of Pujaris and their families were also approved in the meeting.

Religious places should be developed in a planned manner: Nath said that all the places of faith of different religions in the state should be developed in a planned manner with a view of tourism. There should be no lack in the budget. He asked to make arrangement of ‘Sound and Light Show’ at all the major famous places, including Mahakal in the state. The devotees should also be acquainted with the historical importance of these places.

Ram Van Path Gaman Vikas Yojana: Reviewing the ‘Ram Van Path Gaman Vikas Yojana’, the Chief Minister sought information on the progress. It was informed in the meeting that Rs. 5 crore for Chourasi Kos Parikarma of Ram Van Path Gaman and Rs. One crore each for development of Kamadgiri Corridor and Gupt Godavari have been given.

The Chief Minister while reviewing the Mahakal Vikas Yojana, directed that this will be reviewed in a separate meeting and information on its progress so far will be obtained. As regard to the development of Dada Ji Darbar located in Khandwa, Nath also sought information of the action taken so far.

Kamal Nath instructed for early appointment on the vacant posts of the members of Narmada, Mandakini, Kshipra River Trust, Tapi River Trust and Math Mandir Advisory Committee and various Mandir Committees.
