Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and others. The film has been pushed ahead to release for next year. Earlier the film was to release in August and later in December this year. Like Karan Johar and Ayan have issued a statement saying that they chose to push it ahead so that they can complete a VFX work on the film, the rumour has it that the Johar is apparently concerned about the exceeding budget of the film.
A source says, “Ayan’s sci-fic is going to be three part series. The film went on floors last year and most of the major portion of the film has been shot already. However the VFX work on the film is yet to be over. In fact Karan is concern about the growing budget of the film. It is a big budget film but with each passing day the budget is getting increased day by day.”
It is said that the filmmaker has already spent around Rs. 150 crores on the film so far. The film is going to have two more parts and with such a huge budget, it seems that Karan will have to think about the next two parts as well.
