Kabir Khan’s next big movie is based on India’s victory in 1983 World Cup. The shooting of this film is going on in England where Ranveer Singh is present along with all actors.
‘83’ is based on the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who lifted the World Cup for India in 1983 and also coached the team from October 1999 to August 2000. ’83’ also features R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Sahil Khattar as the men in blue in the film.
During the next four months the film’s cast and crew will shoot the film in England. Kabir Khan and his team are reportedly taking help and suggestions from West Indies former great player Vivian Richards.
A source revealed Kabir Khan had detailed discussion with Vivian Richards. Richards told him in detail about that historic final. Richards asked Ranveer to practice the catch which Kapil Dev had taken to send Richards to pavillion.
Kabir is busy in the casting of foreign players. Deepika Padukone is also going to join the 83 team. She is playing the role of Ranveer Singh’s wife.
