Actress Kajal Aggarwal unveiled her wax statue on Wednesday at the
Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore. Kajal’s parents, sister Nisha and her family were present with her during the event and were proud of her achievement. At the statue unveiling ceremony, she spoke about her 100-day transformation challenge which helped her grow physically and mentally.
Kajal arrived in a purple-colored suit for the event. At the same time, her statue is wearing a golden colour sequin gown with one shoulder detailing. Apart from Kajal, this museum has statues of Anushka Sharma, Prabhas, Sridevi, Mahesh Babu, and Karan Johar.
During the event, Kajal shared her experience of visiting London’s Madame Tussauds Museum. She said, ‘When I was 12, I went to the Madame Tussauds Museum in London, and I remember that I was sitting among the stars. I took photos with my hands in front of Mahatma Gandhi. I was sitting on the couch with the Beatles and I was feeling like, ‘Oh my God I’m here’.”
Kajal said further, “I remember when I saw all those popular people there, I understood what it means to be really popular, to have a place in the heart, and to be extremely famous. I did not know that one day I too will get to see my wax figure.”
In December 2019, Kajal Aggarwal took to social media to announce about her wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Sharing a couple of photos, she wrote, “This feels like a fabulous culmination so far and a great way to start the new decade on a good note.. the insane hours of hard work and personal sacrifices, all feel worth it.. forever thankful to have all of you by my side.. this ones for each one of you! (sic)”
On the work front, the actress is expected to join the shooting of director Shankar’s Indian 2, in which she will share screen space with Kamal Haasan. Meanwhile, her web-series with Venkat Prabhu is rumoured to release on Valentine’s Day (February 14).
