Jyotiraditya Scindia: Only two leaders in Madhya Pradesh never use AC in our vehicles… Shivraj Singh Chouhan and me

Bhopal: Jyotiraditya Scindia reached Bhopal for the first time on Thursday after joining the BJP. Here Scindia did a roadshow in the city. The 20-km-long roadshow, which started from the airport at 5 pm, reached the BJP office at 6.30 pm.

Scindia said- ‘Today is a very emotional moment for me. I consider myself fortunate that with the blessings of Nadda Saheb, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, Home Minister Amit Shah, the doors of this family were opened for me.’

Scindia praised Shivraj and said – ‘In Madhya Pradesh, only two leaders do not use AC in the car, one is Shivraj and the other is me.’

Scindia said in the BJP office – ‘There are two types of people in this country. Some join politics for power and others want to serve the public. I can proudly say that whether it was Atalji or Narendra Modi, whether my grandmother Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia or another member of the Scindia family, my revered father or I… For all of them politics WAs the medium to serve people.’

‘I have brought only one thing with me (to BJP) and that is my hard work’, Scindia said.

‘The organisation and family in which I have spent 20 years, the organisation where I have put my hard work and efforts, I am leaving all that behind and handing myself over to you,’ ADDED Scindia.

‘It is a very emotional day for me today. I consider myself fortunate that this family (BJP) opened the doors for me,’ he said.

Former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was present to welcome Scindia at the party office.

Chouhan said, “We had a direct fight with Scindia ji, but someone else took the post (of chief minister).”

Scindia said when he raised issues like injustice to farmers falsely accused in the Mandsaur firing case, he was asked (by Congress) to take to the streets.

‘When Scindia family is challenged then it won’t remain silent,’ he said.

Scindia said his only aim is to make a place in the heart of each and every BJP worker.

Welcoming Scindia, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar assured him that he will not have any complaints with the large BJP family.

Taunting Chief Minister Kamal Nath for organising IIFA ceremony, Chouhan said the government has no money for farmers but enough funds for the Bollywood event.

After reaching the BJP office Deendayal Parisar in posh Arera Colony in a rally from the airport, Scindia garlanded busts of his grandmother Vijayaraje Scindia, Deendayal Upadhyay and former BJP president Kushabhau Thakre.
