John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ to clash with ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Made In China’ next year

Mumbai: John Abraham and the makers of Batla House Nikhil Advani, Bhushan Kumar have announced that their film is set to release on Independence Day next year.

The makers are all set to start shoot and have released the first poster featuring John to announce the release date.

On the other hand Karan Johar, who is producing Brahmastra had locked this date long ago before the film went on floor. Ayan Mukerji’s film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy has already finished shooting two major schedules in Bulgaria.

Incidentally, this is not going to be a two way clash, as recently Dinesh Vijan too has said that his next film Made in China is also set to release on Independence Day, 2019. The film has Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy.

This year too John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate released with Akshay Kumar’s Gold on August 15. Both the films had to share a screen space and could not do great business. With this latest announcement it seems John too has joined the bandwagon of the Khan’s and Akshay of aiming long weekends for releasing his films.
