Janhvi Kapoor misses Sridevi on the trailer launch of ‘Dhadak’

Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor grew emotional at the trailer launch of her debut film Dhadak. The young actor had the support of the Kapoor family who turned up in full force at the launch to support the latest entrant in showbiz.

Remembering her mother, late Sridevi, an extremely emotional Janhvi said, “I miss my mom today. When I saw Sairat for the first time with my mom, I remember telling her that Archie’s role from the film is the one I wish I could have got for my first film. My mom too said that she wanted a role like that for me.”

When asked what advice Sridevi had given her, Janhvi said, “The biggest tip my mother has ever given me is to work hard and feel every emotion. I have tried to do that in this film. ”

Janhvi was also frank enough to admit that no one could reprise Archie’s role from Sairat the way Marathi actor Rinku Rajguru played it.

“My character is different from the original character played by Rinku. No one can do what Rinku Rajguru has done in Sairat. I have tried my best to be honest towards my craft,” said Janhvi.
