Mumbai: Salman Khan has been shooting for his upcoming film Bharat from past couple of months. The film has been in news because of it’s casting as initially Priyanka Chopra was to star in the film opposite Salman but she left the project at the last moment and Katrina Kaif replace her.
While the shoot has been going on smoothly since then, the actor is apparently a bit concerned about the film.
“Salman has been keeping a check on the film since the beginning. He was also involved in the script and had suggested changes. Now, he has been monitoring all the developments and scenes. He doesn’t want anything to go wrong after his last film Race 3 could not do too well at box office earlier this year. Bharat is going to be his big film next year which is set to release on Eid. He has also instructed director Ali Abbas Zafar to make sure that the length of the movie is right. He feels that if the film turns out to be too long then it will not impress the audience as it is a serious drama,” says a source.
Bharat is the remake of Korean film An Ode to My Father. The film stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Varun Dhawan, Sunil Grover and others. The crew has finished shooting two schedules in Malta and Abu Dhabi. The next schedule of the film is expected to start immediately after Diwali in Punjab near LOC.
