New Delhi: Intelligence agencies on Wednesday issued a warning of terrorist attacks on large military bases in the country. According to government sources, 8 to 10 terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed can carry out suicide attacks on air force bases in and around Jammu and Kashmir.
High alert at 5 airbases
According to the news agency, an orange alert has been issued at Srinagar, Avantipora, Jammu, Pathankot (Punjab) and Hindon (Delhi-NCR) airbases after this warning.
All senior officers are reviewing security arrangements to deal with the threat. It has been reported that intelligence agencies have issued this alert after monitoring the activities of Jaish terrorists.
