‘Incredible 2’ to release in India a week later due to Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s upcoming film “Race 3” is set to release on June 15. The actor, who is known for releasing his films on Eid every year, this time around however it is said that the actor, is planning to get maximum screens in India for ‘Race 3’, so ‘Incredible 2’ had to shift its release date.

A source says, “Around June 15 this year, there are no other Hindi releases, as no other filmmakers are willing to have a box office clash with Salman. Now the actor and distributor are keen to have huge number of screens in India to release their film. Therefore the makers of the international film could not get desired amount of screens in India. In fact they were willing to release it one week in advance but since “Jurassic World” is releasing on June 8, the studio could not release it then.”

When asked Kumar Taurani about it, he says, “The response for the trailer and the song has been good. So we are willing to get huge opening and screens. However I don’t know about the other international release being planned around that time.”

Another source says, “Incredible 2 was to release in India on June 15 but it has been pushed to June 22 now. It will release worldwide on same day except India.”

“Race 3” is a third movie in “Race” franchise and it stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and others.
