Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he’ll never be able to forgive BJP’s Bhopal candidate Sadhvi Pragya Thakur for insulting Mahatma Gandhi.
“She has apologised for her remarks but I will never be able to forgive her,” PM said during an interview with a news channel.
“Nathuram Godse was a deshbhakt, is a deshbhakt and will remain a deshbhakt. People calling him a terrorist should instead look within. Such people will be given a befitting reply in these elections,” Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur had said.
Meanwhile, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has again took a swipe at PM Modi over the latter’s ‘cloud-radar’ remark saying that PM doesn’t listen to anyone and is living in his own world.
Rahul further accused the PM of stealing on behalf of businessman Anil Ambani. He said that while Narendra Modi’s “stealing” on behalf of businessmen like Anil Ambani had destroyed the economy and taken away jobs, the Nyay Yojana would result in jumpstarting the economy with the “petrol, diesel and fuel” it needs.
