If our film was really bad, it wouldn’t have worked at the box-office: Bobby Deol

Mumbai: Race 3 has been doing roaring business at the box-office racing past the ₹100-crore mark with relative ease. While box-office returns have been encouraging, critics have not been too kind towards Salman Khan and Race 3.

Most of them slammed the film for its shoddy plot and bad acting. However, box-office numbers have proved otherwise and that has pleased Bobby Deol, one of the actors in the film.

Speaking about Race 3 and the criticism it received, Bobby said, “If a film works at the box office what else should one do? If a film is good and doesn’t work at the box-office then people say film is not good. Criticism milti rehti hai. It only makes a difference if the film is really bad. But if Race 3 was really bad then it wouldn’t have worked at the box-office.”

Bobby looked pleased with the commercial success of Race 3. “My smile says it all. I am happy my performance has been appreciated along with others,” said Bobby.

The actor who was out of reckoning for long is now looking forward for a successful second innings. “Hope I am a part of Race 4 as well,” said Bobby.
