Mumbai: Actress Upasana Singh, popularly known as Pinky Bua from The Kapil Sharma Show still misses those days when the entire team contributed towards its success. Unfortunately, the fallout among the comedian-actors lead to the curtain down and now there’s no looking back.
Recently, in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Upasana Singh said, “Popularity of The Kapil Sharma Show was not just because of Kapil Sharma; it was a team effort. I remember we used to work day and night for its success and one cannot forget those days. I still miss them but one cannot do anything now. All I have is the memories and now there’s no looking back. I wish we could come all together again; but I know it’s impossible now.”
The actress further added, “Our fans want us together; in fact there were a few people from the channel too who tried to bring all of us together again on one platform…but unfortunately it couldn’t happen. Its sad.”
Upasana is currently working with Kapil Sharma’s friend-turned-foe Sunil Grover in his comedy show, so would she love to work with Kapil too? When questioned about it, she quickly replied, “Why not? There is no enimity between any of us. As entertainers, our core responsibility is to entertain the audience. But saying this, I would want him to give me a good script; unlike the previous one. If given an opportunity, I would love to work with him again. Surprisingly, he has not approached me yet (laughs).”
Coming to Kapil Sharma, the comedian-actor is all set to make his comeback on small screen with the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show. He was recently seen in the finale episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
