Not too long ago, there was a global outcry after scores of women came forward with horrifying allegations of sexual offences levelled against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. And now Vicky Donor star Ayushmann Khurrana revealed his casting couch moment recently.
Not just women, even men are victims of unwanted sexual advances. Ayushmann Khurrana narrated his experience on the latest episode of Anaita Shroff Adjania’s chat show.
“There was this gay casting director, who said, ‘I want to see your c**k. Can I just feel you?’ I started laughing. I was like, ‘Kya baat kar rahe ho yaar? Are you serious?’ I said no, it’s not happening like that,” he revealed.
On the work front, Ayushmann will be seen next on the big screen in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Andha Dhun. The film features the actor as a blind piano player, with Radhika Apte playing his love interest.
Andha Dhun marks Ayushmann’s first collaboration with the filmmaker. Talking about working with him, Ayushmann had told IANS, “He is a thespian when it comes to thrillers. He is a very exciting filmmaker, and he is the one who does not believe in a fixed script and will improvise on the spot. It is very challenging to work with him and exciting at the same time.”
Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures, Andha Dhun will hit the theatres on October 5. Ayushmann will also be seen in Badhaai Ho, an upcoming comedy drama film directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
