New Delhi: It is Ekta Kapoor’s birthday, and while celebrities and fans are wishing her online, the Veede Di Wedding producer chose to visit Tirupati on her birthday instead of opting for the conventional celebrations.
Riding high on the box-office success of her latest film, Ekta Kapoor has all the reasons to party now along with her birthday. Despite of this all, she will be visiting Tirupati temple to seek blessings of the Almighty.
Ekta took to Twitter a day before her birthday and wrote, “No party for tom! As always I’ll travel to TIRUPATHI today Alone n bring in my bday in front of d almighty! Come back for dinner with family tom! I get terribly reflective on bdays!”
Recently, she has been engaged in a one-sided war with YouTuber Pewdiepie.
Pewdiepie is a Swedish game commentator and YouTuber, known for his Let’s Play commentaries and vlogs, as well as for having the most subscribed channel on YouTube.
The commentator on May 9 tweeted this:
And then he posted a sarcastic video on Indians, and criticised Ekta Kapoor’s TV shows on his YouTube channel.
Ekta Kapoor shared the video on Twitter and wrote: “You seem obsessed Bhai! I’ll send you some fresh videos.”
She then went on talking about how insignificant he is to her, in a series of tweets.
Well, social media has not been ignorant of Pewdiepie’s existence, so when on June 4, just a few days ahead of the ace producer’s birthday, Pewdiepie shared a video responding to her one-sided fight with him, twitterati flooded with trolls and criticism:
