New Delhi: After breaking box office records by earning Rs 52 crore on its opening day, there is some bad news for Vijay Krishna Acharya’s action-adventure film Thugs Of Hindostan, which has garnered negative reviews from fans and critics alike.
The entire film, starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been leaked online by the infamous piracy website TamilRockers, just hours after it hit the screens on Thursday. What’s worse is that not only the Hindi version but also the Tamil and Telugu-dubbed versions have also surfaced on the internet, that too in HD print.
According to a leading publication, enraged cinegoers have written to the authorities, seeking legal action against the website for flouting piracy laws.
This is not the first time that TamilRockers has dealt a massive blow to the film industry. Recently, the Tamil film Sarkar, starring Vijay, was also made available online, merely hours after the release. Last month, the Tamil film Vada Chennai, featuring Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajesh, was also leaked.
