[dropcap]B[/dropcap]ollywood is full with wedding stories this winter. After Deepika-Ranveer, and Priyanka-Nick, actor and comedian Kapil Sharma is all geared up to get married to his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath. The couple is set to tie knot in Jalandhar on Wednesday, December 12.
The marriage will take place at The Grand Cabbana resort in Jalandhar. Soon after they return to Mumbai, the couple will host a reception for their friends in Mumbai, on December 24, as reported by Indian Express.
Other the bride and groom’s family and friends, the guest list includes Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, singer Richa Sharma, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar, who have reached Amritsar to witness the wedding.
The wedding functions have been going on for about 10 days now. It started with Akhandpath held at Ginni’s place on December 3. On Monday, social media was flooded with photos from the mehendi ceremony. It was followed by a jagran held by Kapil’s family in Amritsar, which has all his friends as guests.

Krushna shared a photo from the Jagran ceremony on Instagram and captioned it, “All night fun on kapil ki shaadi in Amritsar, aaj sab jaag rahe hain as jagran hai, jai mata di.”
Kapil Sharma made his relationship public in 2017 through a social media post and then made his marriage announcement on November 27, this year by sharing his wedding card.
The wedding card said,“With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect and togetherness on 12th of December, 2018.”
According to a report by Times Now, Kapil Sharma will also be streaming his wedding live for his fans on his YouTube channel. The teaser of the wedding titled “Kapil Ki Shadi Hai – Poore India Ko Aana Hai” was shot by his close friends Rajiv Thakur and Chandan Prabhakar.
After a long break from work owing to personal and health issues, Kapil Sharma is now ready to make a comeback with the second season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
On marrying Kapil, Ginni recently told Bombay Times, “Kapil is a gem of a person and very caring. There is no one like him and I can’t find anyone better than him. He is a family man. He is still humble the way he was years ago and hasn’t changed at all.” Ginni and Kapil also revealed that they will not be going on honeymoon anytime soon as they need to resume to their works, as soon as possible.
