Fans are going crazy after HBO dropped 15 new photos from the upcoming and final season of Game of Thrones. Most of these photos are of the major characters. Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen photo together will make you feel that after years, winter is finally here.
Check out the individual photos of the King in the North and The Dragon Queen:
There are several fan theories doing rounds one of which predicts that Jon and Daenerys will have a child together. We last saw the King in the North and The Dragon Queen, they were headed to Winterfell in a ship and the two got romantic with each other.
The Stark girls Sansa and Arya also appear in the photos. While we know
Sansa (Lady of Winterfell), who seems rather lost in her own thoughts in the photos here, will greet Daenerys Targaryen in Winterfell, we see her younger sister Arya giving an intense look:
In the last episode of season 7 Tyrion Lannister saw Jon enter Daenerys’ room on their way to Winterfell, and did not look too pleased. The episode’s director, Jeremy Podeswa, told INSIDER that Tyrion was likely feeling a combination of jealousy and concern for what that romantic union would mean for their cause:
Bran Stark, or the Three-Eyed Raven is probably having another one of his visions. Remember how Sam Tarly and Bran together found out about Jon’s Targaryen parentage and therefore the rightful heir to the Iron Throne?
Lord Varys seems to be in Winterfell as well:
Ser Davos, has been a staunch supporter of Jon Snow ever since he saw him comeback to life from the dead. Here he looks really concerned:
Brienne of Tarth seems to live by her oath to Sansa and Arya’s mother Catelyn Stark:
Cersei Lannister, however, seems to be plotting something new against the Starks and Targaryen Queen:
Jamie Lannister’s smiling face makes us wonder where he’s headed, as he was last seen riding away from King’s Landing. Will he be fighting the Army of the Dead in the North or will he return to King’s Landing to his lover/sister Cersei?:
Makers of the show David Benioff and DB Weiss, as well as David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik, will direct episodes. The six episodes of the final have been scripted by Benioff, Weiss, Bryan Cogman (co-executive producer) and Dave Hill.
Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman had said in an interview with the media that the final season “is about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honours very much what (author George RR Martin) set out to do — which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”
