Has Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ script been changed again?

Mumbai: Salman Khan has just wrapped up and returned from the Malta schedule of Bharat where he shot with Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani.

If sources are to believed, then the script of the film was changed for the actor some time ago. The film is an adaption of Korean film An Ode To My Father.

“Salman is looking after all the details of the film and had instructed director Ali Abbas Zafar to make appropriate changes so that it will be suitable for the Indian audience. However, the director was initially planning to keep some portion of the original film. According to the original script, the lead actor loses his leg in a war sequence. But later both Salman and the director chose not to incorporate that incident in the film as they thought it is not suitable for the script which they have written,” says a source.

It is also said that the actor was not keen to be shown handicapped in the film, though there is no confirmation on it.

Meanwhile, there was a rumour recently that some changes were made in the script for Katrina Kaif as well when she stepped up to fill Priyanka Chopra’s exit. Priyanka was to play a feisty girl from north so it has been changed to make it suitable for Katrina.
