On his 43rd birthday, Mahesh Babu released the poster of his 25th film 'Maharishi'.

New Delhi: As fans began wishing Telegu superstar Mahesh Babu on his 43rd birthday, he released the poster of his 25th film as a return gift to all his fans. The film, titled Maharishi, will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

“Embarking on my new journey as Rishi,” Mahesh Babu tweeted, much to all his fans delight. ‘Maharishi’ is also one of the top trends on the Internet on Thursday.

Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar also kept her Instafam posted about Maharishi by sharing several posts.

Deva remade the film into Hindi as WANTED in 2009 with Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia portraying the lead roles. In 2010, the film was again remade in Kannada as Porki by M. V. Sridhar with Darshan and Pranitha Subhash portraying the lead roles.

The film was later remade in Tamil as Ghilli, starring Vijay and Trisha. The film was also remade in Bengali titled Jor, and in Hindi as Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, Kannada as Ajay and in Odia as Mate Aanidela Lakhe Phaguna.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013)
