Hyderabad: Goutham Kumar of Telangana has made a world record by feeding more than a thousand poor people in a single day.
His admirable work has been included in the Universal Book of Records. The institution has also honored him for this. Goutham lives in Hyderabad and runs an NGO, under which he did this good work.
Goutham said, “I started the NGO named Serve the Needy in 2014. The organization started with the determination that no one should sleep hungry. We can feed more and more people and we are constantly moving towards that. I find comfort in doing this work. Now we have around 140 volunteers, who are constantly doing this work.”
Food was provided at three different places in Hyderabad
Recently Goutham Kumar gave food to people in Hyderabad at three different localities. First of all, he fed the patients at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, then in Rajendra Nagar and finally he provided food to kids at an orphanage Amma Nanna.
After Goutham made the world record, he was certified by K.V. Ramana Rao, the Indian representative of Universal Book of Records and its Telangana chief TM Shrilata.
