The show categorizes Jayalalithaa’s life into three segments. It will focus on her life as a school-going girl, a teenager, and the phase when she joined politics, taking over MG Ramachandran’s place after his demise.

The teaser of the show was unveiled over the weekend. While Gautham Menon has directed five episodes, Prasath has directed five too. Two episodes have been jointly directed by both of them.

All through the teaser, the makers have been careful not to reveal the actors’ faces. It begins with Jayalalithaa as a schoolgirl on stage in front of a mic, receiving applause from the audience. “State topper in school” it reads following which we’re shown a young girl dancing along with the words, “Superstar heroine at 18”. The teaser then shows a young woman dressed in white saree with the ADMK tricolour border, making public speeches.
