Mumbai: Senior Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor shocked everyone last year when he announced about undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness. This year, there is good news for his fans as they will get to see him on the big screen.

News is that Rishi-starrer The Body is all set to hit the screens in June this year. The film directed by Jeethu Joseph (director of Malayalam Drishyam) also stars Emraan Hashmi along with Sobhita Dhulipala and south actress Vedhika.

Emraan confirms the news, saying, “It is a murder mystery cum horror film which completed shooting and is currently under post-production. It will be released in June.” The film was wrapped up in a period of over 45 days.

Emraan is also busy with two films made under his banner. One is Father’s Day which is based on a detective – Suryakant Bhande Patil – who solves child kidnapping cases for free, and the other he refuses to divulge any details of. These apart, Emraan also stars in Netflix’s web show Bard Of Blood co-starring Kirti Kulhari. The film, is apparently an official remake of the 2012 Spanish film The Body.
