[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter Bioscopewala, Bollywood’s legendary and veteran actor, Danny Denzongpa will be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s much awaited film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi as a commander of Manikarnika’s army, Ghaus Khan. Other than being the Senapati, Danny will also act like a fatherly figure, ‘Ghaus Baba’ to the queen played by Kangana Ranaut.
In his first look released for the film, Danny is seen in a fight scene, riding a horse in Senapati’s attire.
Producer Kamal Jain says, “Danny Denzongpa was our first and only choice for character of Ghaus Khan in the film. It’s a tailor-made role for him. He has worked really very hard for pulling off this character effortlessly in the film.”
Danny is popular for his iconic roles like ‘Katya’ in Sunny Deol’s Ghatak and ‘Kancha Cheena’ in Big-B’s Agneepath. Along with Danny, popular television star Ankita Lokhande will also be seen in the film in the role of Jhalkaribai. Ankita is doing her Bollywood debut through this film.
Manikarnika’s official theatrical trailer will be launched on December 18 and the film is set to release on January 25, 2019.
