‘Congress feared Priyanka Gandhi’s career would end if she contested against Modi’: Baba Ramdev

New Delhi: Baba Ramdev on Friday said that the Congress was apprehensive that party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s political career would finish at the beginning if she contested election against Narendra Modi.

So the party chose not to field Priyanka from Varanasi out of fear, Ramdev said.

The Yoga guru also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s Chowkidar chor hai remark.

He praised PM Narendra Modi and said that the Chowkidar wasn’t a thief. “Chowkidar chor nahi, balki pure hai,” he said.

Baba Ramdev backed BJP’s poll manifesto and said that Article 370 must go. Article 370 gives self-governing status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
