The Ambani seem to have a strict rule for wedding celebrations — first Isha Ambani late last year, and now Akash Ambani – they get the best of the best to perform.
At Isha’s sangeet we saw Beyonce performing, and now, at son Akash Ambani’s pre-wedding bash, Mukesh and Nita Ambani, had Coldplay and Chainsmokers performing St Moritz, Switzerland.

In a video shared by actor Aadar Jain on his Instagram stories, Martin can be seen singing one of Coldplay’s hit songs, ‘Sky Full of Stars’. Another video features American DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers crooning ‘Paris’ as actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen grooving to the number along with the would-be bride and groom.
Soon, Aamir Khan took to the stage and performed to his hit song from the 90s, ‘Aati Kya Khandala’. Later, all the Bollywood stars were seen on stage along with the Ambani family dancing to ‘Gallan Goodiyan’ from Dil Dhadakne Do.
Guests from Bollywood attending Akash Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations consists of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Navya Naveli Nanda, Karisma Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.
Cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh were also a part of the festivities.
According to a local Swiss news website, over 850 invited guests are a part of the pre-wedding event themed winter wonderland. About 200 security personnel have been employed as well.
Akash Ambani will marry Shloka Mehta on March 9 at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre. A party will be hosted at the same venue on March 10, followed by a wedding reception on March 11. The couple, who have been childhood sweethearts, got engaged in March, 2018.
Akash currently heads strategy at Jio, Reliance Industry’s 4G service provider.
